It contains one of the best collections in Catalonia of Catalan painting from the end of the 19th century to the present day. Its fund is a thousand pieces between paintings, sculptures, drawings and photographs.

Chronologically, it starts with traditional realism, to continue with the School of Olot and modernism, impressionist-influenced landscaping, the noucentists and the first avant-gardes, post-war figurative painters and renovating artists, reaching the creators of today.
