Vila-rodona's columbarium is the most important Roman vestige in the municipality. It is a funeral building from the 1st century where the urns with the ashes of the deceased were kept. These were deposited in niches attached to the walls. The interior was divided into two parts by means of a central wall that separated the portico from the cell. The presence of the columbarium shows the existence of a lot of activity in this area in Roman times.
