Espai Gerhard, inaugurated on September 25 of 2022, occupied the space of the Sant Roc Chapel, and is dedicated to the great Valls' composer Robert Gerhard and Ottenwaelder.

Espai Gerhard is, in short, a strong response to the first of the objectives set out in the statutes of the Institut d'Estudis Vallencs: the study and biographical and critical dissemination of the person and the work of citizens of the Alt Camp (…) who have excelled in cultural, artistic, economic or social activities.
