Alcover and the bandits

The urban route of Alcover will take you to discover the stage of splendor and wealth that the town experienced. But it was also a bandit town: Nyerros, Cadells, Morells and Voltors. Who were these bandits, and why did they settle in the city?

We will take a tour of the town's history, from its foundation in 1166 to the present day. This urban route passes through the most prominent points of the old town of Alcover, Portal de la Saura, Església de la Sang, Plaça Nova, Església Nova, Carrer del Rec and the Tower of Ca Tatxó.

The world of bees: Honey, wax and... much more

Joan M. Llorens has spent his whole life dedicated to the world of bees. From its Casa Museu de la Mel in Alcover, it produces honey of various varieties, but also candles, royal jelly, beer, mead and much more.

At the end of the tour of the town, he will explain the complex world of bees and you can taste up to 3 varieties of Honey el Remei, made from the hives located in the Prades Mountains.
