The air raid shelter of Valls is located under Plaça del Blat. It was built in 1938 in the face of the danger of being bombed during the Civil War. The shelter was built according to a project designed by the municipal architect Josep M. Vives Castellet.

It is an underground, gallery-type shelter covered in bricks. It is about 8 meters deep with galleries 1.80 meters high and 1.60 meters wide. Today the area that can be visited occupies a length of about 55 meters.
