The castle is the most typical of the town and giving it its own personality, as it dominates a large area from the height of the tower.

This is a military fortification of the eleventh century, transformed into a residential palace, which remained intact until the nineteenth century and inhabited until 1908.

Where the high keep, seven-storey with Gothic elements, which alternate with Gothic and Romanesque details of the rest of the set. Was declared a National Cultural Interest by the Generalitat of Catalonia in 1985.
