The architect Cèsar Martinell is key to understand the Catalan architecture of the early twentieth century. This Valls' Citizen of Honour collaborated with Gaudí and played an important role in the agricultural cooperative movement emerging in the early years of XXth century. He also became the architect of the new wineries that went down in history as the "wine cathedrals". The route wants to unveil the heritage left by this architect in the city of Valls built in a modernist and "noucentista" style.
